Overview
The 7000-series meter is based on the field proven Aidon device platform, designed for demanding industrial and household energy metering. It provides detailed, realtime measurement data for billing, power grid management and smart grid applications.
Features
7000-series metering device consists of an energy meter and a system module. The modular structure enables the update of the communication solutions without the need to change the meter.
The 7000-series meter's features include 4-quadrant phase-based and total energy measuring, tariffs, timestamped load profiles, control of loads, registration of power outages as well as delivery quality. These functions are remotely configurable.
The device is easy and efficient to install to different environments. Demanding climate conditions are taken into account in the device’s robust design and in the material selections. The device’s inbuilt functionality secures correct installation by detecting and informing about installation related faults. It also registers and alerts of manipulation attempts.
