Quito, April 3rd, 2024 – Gridspertise today announced the signing of a technological cooperation agreement with Centrosur, one of the leading utilities in Ecuador, with the aim of carrying out actions for the implementation of smart metering, advanced infrastructure, modernization and digitalization initiatives of the distribution network.
The technological cooperation is focused on the coordination, promotion and development of joint activities for the continuous improvement of the provision of electric power service and related services in the concession area of Centrosur and the optimal use of its networks and electrical infrastructure.
The two companies will collaborate in the development of studies, use and implementation of technological systems, information, methodologies and infrastructure enhancement. This cooperation agreement will open opportunities to deploy Proof of Concepts (POCs) of Gridspertise smart metering solutions and interoperability, power quality and the Quantum Edge® device as part of the company co-creation program.
