Claudio De Conto is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gridspertise.
Before taking on this role, he served as CEO of the Gnutti Carlo Industrial Group (2022–2025) and previously led the Artsana Group as CEO (2013–2022).
He spent over two decades at Pirelli, where he gained solid industrial and international experience through assignments in Brazil, Spain, and Germany, serving in several senior roles including Group General Manager. Throughout his extensive career, Claudio De Conto has combined deep industrial expertise with a proven ability to guide organizations through critical phases, helping companies unlock new opportunities and strengthen their market position.
He has held prominent governance roles, including Chairman of Prysmian Group, Board Member of RCS MediaGroup S.p.A. and Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A., and member of the Management Board of Banca Popolare di Milano S.c.a.r.l. He also contributed to international financial reporting standards as a member of IFRIC (International Financial Reporting Committee) and EFRAG (European Financial Reporting Advisory Group) for two mandates.
Claudio graduated in Corporate Finance from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan in 1986.
