Overview

LVM G3 Hybrid combines G3 PLC and 868–915 MHz RF communication to improve meter reachability in complex LV networks. Featuring secure architecture, versatile uplink interfaces (gRPC, MQTT, SFTP), and cellular or Ethernet connectivity, it enables scalable, future-ready smart grid operations and simplified meter fleet management.

Features

Combines G3 PLC over low-voltage networks with RF communication in the 868–915 MHz range. This dual approach maximizes meter reachability, avoids single-point communication failures, and guarantees stable data collection even in challenging distribution network conditions.

Seamlessly connects with Head-End Systems (HES) via GPRS, 3G, 4G cellular, or Ethernet. It supports flexible application interfaces including gRPC, MQTT, SFTP, and TCP/IP private socket ports for effortless integration into both new and legacy AMI architectures.

Efficiently aggregates meter data, handles event logs, and supports remote firmware upgrades for both the concentrator and connected smart meters. Equipped with "Last Gasp" emergency notification in case of mains power failure.
