ARNet
An app that projects an electric grid in augmented reality over the external world. Operators can visualize the grid's topology and see the technical specs, salient data and current status of a specific element, node or line by framing them with their smartphone. ARNet is crucial for interventions when the grid is not directly visible due to its structure or to catastrophic events (e.g. blizzards, floods or earthquakes).
Benefits
- Extremely fast intervention in case of disasters (SAIDI impact)
- Immediate highlighting of hidden elements, reducing intervention time
NetNav
NetNav is one of the core applications of the WFM set. It is an electricity grid consultation and navigation tool, by both topology and attributes. Unlike its competitors it can fully operate offline and with real time responses. It is the indispensable companion for almost all field worker activities and for the effective management of complex modern networks.
Benefits
- Real time and offline navigation on networks of up to six million nodes and three million consumers per selected area
- Integrated management of instruments for precision GPS detection or centimeter distances
- Precise network editing with return to central GIS systems
- Can be integrated with SCADA systems for remote control of the network
- Offline operation: network maps available whenever you need them
- Immediate and intuitive Star Center for all network maintenance applications
Smart content provider
Our smart content provider app provides access to safety and operating instructions in a fast and effective way.
The technician can simply frame a component or device with a smartphone: the app will automatically highlight a set of sensitive elements associated with that component over an AR layer. Touching any of these sensitive elements on the smartphone’s display will automatically start the associated multimedia content.
What makes this app stand out is its extreme reactivity and ability to distinguish objects even when they are partially covered or in difficult conditions such as low light or very tight shooting angles.
